I’ve done Feldenkrais technique with a few practitioners but benefited the most from Anna’s instructions. Her gentleness and presence make all the difference. I have attended her group classes as well as one-on-one sessions. I always left really relaxed, with a feeling of being at ease within my body.

I have found Anna's Qigong classes to be a great form of gentle but rewarding exercise. Anna is a great teacher and is very patient and takes time to explain the moves to a beginner like me. I've been attending Anna's classes (feldenkrais, qigong, tai chi) for around 5 years. I first started Anna's Feldenkrais class which was online during the COVID lockdown era - this was not only an eye-opener as to the benefits of Feldenkrais, but also kept us all feel more connected during that time. I then moved on to Anna's face-to-face qigong classes, which I've been attending ever since - one class indoors and another outside in a park. Anna's a fantastic teacher, and she makes teaching students at all levels seem so effortless. She's always mindful of our individual physical strengths and weaknesses, and adapts the movements where necessary. I have been attending the Leura Wellness Centre now for over 2 years since my cancer diagnosis. The centre, as a whole) is respectful, helpful and so caring. There are many classes available to suit individual needs, but since the beginning I have been attending Anna Fisher's Wise Moves and Qigong classes.
Anna provides, in both classes, compassion, respect and guidance to better physical and mental health. Wise Moves is a gentle rebuilding of the physical strength and to repair affected parts of the body, at your individual pace and so helping with one's mental confidence.
Qigong is a more active class but again you can work at your own pace. Gentle encouragement and a smile is always available.
The classes also provide a safe, nonjudgmental space for those at any stage as patient or carer, equally. Despite how I may feel each week I genuinely look forward to the classes and the friendships they have created. Janene Annables
